Where our data comes from
A company page shows what we read about a company and the companies like it. Here are the sources.
- Company websites
We read each company’s own public site: its products, prices and the stores it links to.
- Shopify Standard Product Taxonomy (MIT licence)
Its categories tell us what each company sells.
- Logo.dev
We use it for company names and logos in search.
- Licensed lists of online stores and marketplace sellers
They help us find companies and group similar ones, and we never show their contents on a company’s page.
- Companies themselves
When a company connects its systems or corrects its details, we use what it gives us.
