01 · What it finds

What the audit finds.

Each claim comes with its value, the last day to file it, and the case text to paste into Seller Central. The audit holds back what Amazon usually pays by itself.

Units lost or damaged in the warehouse

Units the inventory ledger shows as lost or damaged at an Amazon fulfillment center, which Amazon has not found again or paid for.

Refunds with no return

Orders Amazon refunded or replaced 60 or more days ago, where the item never came back and Amazon has not paid for it.

Shipments received short

Units you shipped to Amazon that its warehouse did not count in. The audit writes one case for each shipment.

Payments taken back or paid low

Reimbursements Amazon reversed with no unit returned, returns that Amazon or its carrier damaged, and payments below your unit cost.

02 · How it works

How it works.

Connect Seller Central. The account's primary user, or a user with admin rights, signs in through Membrane's sign-in page and allows access. The audit reads your reports and changes nothing in Seller Central.
Pull 18 months of data. The skill asks Amazon for five reports: the inventory ledger, reimbursements, customer returns, replacements, and the fee preview. It also reads your shipments to Amazon and 240 days of sales and refunds. Amazon can take up to two hours to build the reports.
File the claims yourself. The report lists the claims to file now, soonest deadline first, each with its case text and what to attach. The agent never opens a case or replies on one.

The Seller Central credentials and the pulled data stay on your computer, under ~/.membrane/.

03 · The job
